
As I don’t have much space for a large model railroad, I was thinking how to build something small and fun. I do like switching, so…
… it won’t be long before someone mentions the “Timesaver”[1]. This small layout, conceived by famous US modeller John Allen[2] and introduced in the November 1972 issue of Model Railroader is a truly classic switching puzzle and probably the most important layout concept of this type.
On this blog I’ll show the progress of building my timesaver layout.
